I was going through an attempt at “trying to eat healthy” week when I stumbled upon this recipe online. And these Oats Dates Raisin Cookies made an amazing accompaniment to my evening tea.
Ingredients
1 1/4 cup wheat flour
1 1/2 cup oats
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup dates
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
How To Make Oats Dates Raisin Cookies
Preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius. Grease a baking sheet with butter.
Mix together flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, raisins and dates. Mix the egg, oil & milk in another bowl. Combine the dry ingredients and the egg mixture in another bowl to make a soft dough.
Scoop spoonfuls of the dough on to the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10 -12 mins. Allow these oats dates raisin cookies to cool for 5-10 minutes before storing in an airtight container.
