My husband’s favourite, now my little one’s too. This one here is a simple dal recipe.
Ingredients
1. Dal – ½ cup
Garlic – 4 to 5 cloves
Onion – 1 chopped finely
Tomato – 1 chopped finely
Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
Salt to taste
2. Mustard seeds – ¼ teaspoon
Cumin seeds – ¼ teaspoon
Dry Red Chilli – 2
Asafoetida – ¼ teaspoon
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoon, chopped
3. Oil – 2 tablespoon
How To
Pressure cook number 1 ingredients until all the ingredients are cooked thoroughly. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard and cumin seeds. Add dry red chilli and asafoetida and sauté for a minute. Add the cooked ingredients, chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Serve this simple yet yummy dal hot with roti or rice.
